The San Jose City Local Government through the General Fund intends to apply the sum of Twelve Million Pesos (?12,000,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payment under the contract for the purchase of Eight (8) Units of Brand New Barangay Patrol/Rescue Vehicles/Ambulance. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at the bid opening.

The San Jose City Local Government now invites bids for the Purchase of Eight (8) Units of Brand New Barangay Patrol/Rescue Vehicles/Ambulance. Delivery of the Goods is required within ten (10) calendar days upon receipt of Notice to Proceed. Bidders should have completed within the last two (2) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents particularly, in Section II, Instruction to Bidders.
Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the Government Procurement Reform Act. Bidding is open to all interested bidders, whether local and foreign subject to the conditions for eligibility provided in the IRR of RA 9184.
Interested bidders may obtain further information from the City of San Jose and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during Mondays thru Fridays, 8:00 AM12:00 NN and 1:00 P.M. 5:00 P.M.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by Interested Bidders on January 30, 2019 up to February 19, 2019 from the address below and upon payment of non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB, in the amount of Twenty-Five Thousand Pesos (? 25,000.00).
It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGeps) and the website of the Procuring Entity provided that Bidders shall pay the non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents.
Pre-bid conference which will be open to those who bought bidding documents will be held on February 7, 2019 at 10:00 am at the City General Services Office.
