Rehabilitation of Palestina - Kaliwanagan Road

The San Jose City LGU, through its BAC, invites contractors registered and classified by the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board(PCAB) to apply for eligibility and if found eligible, to bid for the hereunder contract:

Approved Budget for the Contract: Php 7,000,000.00
Source of Fund: 20% Development Fund of 2019
Amount of Bidding Documents: Php 10,000.00
Contract Duration: 180 Calendar days

Prospective bidders should posses a valid PCAB License applicable to the contract , have completed a similar contract with a value at least 50%, and have key personnel and equipment (listed in the eligibility form) available in the prosecution of the contract. The BAC will use non-discretionary pass/fail criteria in the eligibility check/screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids. The BAC will conduct post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid.

All particulars relative to the Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-bidding Conference, Evaluation of Bids, Post Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

The Schedule of BAC activities are as follows:

Issuance of Bidding Documents (January 23, 2019 - February 18, 2019)
Pre-Bid Conference/Deadline of submission of Letter of Intent (LOI) (February 5, 2019 @ 9:30AM)
Deadline of Submission and Opening of Bids (February 19, 2019 @ 9:30AM)
Evaluation of Bids (February 20, 2019)
Post Qualification (February 21, 2018)
Awarding of Contracts (February 22, 2018)

The BAC will issue to prospective bidders Eligibility Forms at the BAC Secretariat City Engineering Office, San Jose City upon their submission of LOI and upon their payment of a non-refundable amount for the cost of such documents.

The San Jose City LGU assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids and reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any defect or informality in the bids and declare a failure of bidding or not award the contract.
