Hauling of City's Residual Waste


The San Jose City Local Government through the General Fund intends to apply the sum of Five Million Four Hundred Thousand Pesos (? 5,400,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payment under the contract for the Hauling of the Citys Residual Wastes to a Sanitary Landfill. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at the bid opening.

The San Jose City Local Government now invites bids for the Hauling of The Citys Residual Wastes to a Sanitary Landfill. Bidders should have an existing Sanitary Landfill facility in accordance with RA 9003, an operational fleet of hauling and transportation equipment, and should provide the container bins for the residual wastes. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents particularly, in Section II, Instruction to Bidders.

Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the Government Procurement Reform Act. Bidding is open to all interested bidders, whether local and foreign subject to the conditions for eligibility provided in the IRR of RA 9184.

Interested bidders may obtain further information from the City of San Jose and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during Mondays thru Fridays, 8:00 AM12:00 NN and 1:00 P.M. 5:00 P.M.

A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by Interested Bidders on May 22, 2019 up to June 11, 2019 from the address below and upon payment of non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB, in the amount of ten thousand pesos (P 10,000.00).

It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGeps) and the website of the Procuring Entity provided that Bidders shall pay the non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents.

Pre-bid conference which will be open to those who bought bidding documents will be held on May 30, 2019 at 10:00 am at the City General Services Office.

The Bids and Awards Committee will hold the following schedule of Public Bidding Activities at 10:00A.M. at the City General Services Office of this city;
1) Posting/Advertisement May 22-29, 2019
2) Pre-Bid Conference May 30, 2019
3) Deadline for submission, Opening of Bids June 13, 2019
3) Evaluation & Post Qualification of Bids June 14-17-18, 2019
4) Awarding of Contract June 19, 2019

The City of San Jose reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder/s.
