Procurement and Delivery of Various Office Supplies for 1st Quarter


The San Jose City LGU through the General Fund intends to apply the sum of Two Million Twenty Two Thousand Two Hundred Eighty Nine pesos (Php 2,022,289.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payment under the contract for the Procurement and Delivery of Various Office Supplies for 1st Quarter. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at the bid opening.

ABC: Php 1,221,416.00

1 x Lot Common Janitorial Supplies
ABC: Php 411,755.00

1 x Lot Other Supplies
ABC: Php 48,000.00

TOTAL ABC: Php 2,022,289.00

Cost of Bidding Documents: Php 5,000.00


The San Jose City LGU now invites bids for the Procurement and Delivery of Various Office Supplies for 1st Quarter. Delivery of the goods is required within ten (10) calendar days upon receipt of Notice to Proceed. Bidders should have completed within the last two(2) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents particularly in Section II, Instruction to Bidder.

Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedure using a non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR) of Republic Act 9184, otherwise known as the Government Procurement Act. Bidding is open to all interested bidders, whether local or foreign subject to the conditions for eligibility provided in the IRR of RA 9184.

Interested bidders may obtain further information from the City of San Jose and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during Mondays thru Fridays, 8:30AM-12:00NN and 1:00PM-5:00PM.

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on February 26, 2019 to March 19, 2019 from the address below and upon payment of non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of Five Thousand pesos (Php 5,000.00) at the San Jose City LGU cashiers.

The City of San Jose will hold a Pre-Bid conference on March 6, 2019 at 10:00AM at the City General Services Office which shall be opened to all interested parties.

Schedule of Activities are as follows:
Issuance of Bidding Documents -> February 26, 2019 to March 19, 2019
Pre-Bid Conference -> March 6, 2019 @10:00AM
Deadline for Submission and Opening of Bids -> Maarch 19, 2019 @10:00AM
Post qualification and Evaluation of bids -> March 20 & 21, 2019
Awarding -> March 22, 2019



Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders representative who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.

The City of San Jose reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder/s.
